Tachyon : A hypothetical particle

Tachyon: A hypothetical particle

Here we are with 5 fascinating facts about Tachyon Particle. So let's start:-

Q.1:- What is a tachyon particle?
A:- A tachyon or tachyonic particle is a hypothetical particle that always travels faster than light. Most physicists believe that faster-than-light particles cannot exist because they are not consistent with the known laws of physics.

Q.2:- Can Tachyons exist?

A:No experimental evidence for the existence of such particles has been found

Q.3:- Who discovered Tachyons?

A:-  The possibility of particles moving faster-than-light was first proposed by O. M. P. Bilaniuk, V. K. Deshpande, and E. C. G. Sudarshan in 1962, although the term they used for it was "meta-particle

Q.4:- Can we see tachyon?

A:- Because a tachyon would always travel faster-than-light, it would not be possible to see it approaching. After a tachyon has passed nearby.

Q.5:- Distinguish  between tachyon and luxon

A:-  You can read from the given below image.

Black Body Radiation: Wien Displacement Law

What is a Blackbody? A black body is an idealization in physics that pictures a body that absorbs all electromagnetic radiation incident on it irrespective of its frequency or angle. Through the second law of thermodynamics that a body always tries to stay in thermal equilibrium. To stay in thermal equilibrium, a black body must emit radiation at the same rate as it absorbs and so it must also be a good emitter of radiation, emitting electromagnetic waves of as many frequencies as it can absorb i.e. all the frequencies. The black body radiation is governed by the Planck radiation law. The Planck radiation law explains the various electromagnetic radiations emitted by a black body at thermal equilibrium at a fixed temperature. Through the Planck radiation law, we were able to understand that radiation emitted by a body is completely independent of the body’s shape, size or composition and is dependent only on the Temperature of the body.
