Black Body Radiation: Wien Displacement Law

What is a Blackbody? A black body is an idealization in physics that pictures a body that absorbs all electromagnetic radiation incident on it irrespective of its frequency or angle. Through the second law of thermodynamics that a body always tries to stay in thermal equilibrium. To stay in thermal equilibrium, a black body must emit radiation at the same rate as it absorbs and so it must also be a good emitter of radiation, emitting electromagnetic waves of as many frequencies as it can absorb i.e. all the frequencies. The black body radiation is governed by the Planck radiation law. The Planck radiation law explains the various electromagnetic radiations emitted by a black body at thermal equilibrium at a fixed temperature. Through the Planck radiation law, we were able to understand that radiation emitted by a body is completely independent of the body’s shape, size or composition and is dependent only on the Temperature of the body. ...

5 Books to Read when you're Soul - Serching

You feel lost. You wonder who you are, why you’re doing what you’re doing, and how you’ll ever get to the next place. At times like this, it really helps to have a community, but it’s also nice to have helpful books to read when you’re soul-searching. Here are some of my favorites Every human should read this book. The idea is that we “agree” with all of our beliefs, even the ones that are damaging. The path to freedom is to break the harmful agreements and make new, healthy ones. Four of them. If you feel like nothing is going your way, people are horrible, or you still don’t get what you deserve even though you try really hard, start with this book.  That is why we need a great deal of courage to challenge our own beliefs. Because even if we know we didn’t choose all these beliefs, it is also true that we agreed to all of them. Don Miguel Ruiz, The Four Agreements Feel stuck? Trapped by circumstance? This book is for you. Don’t worry; this book wil...

Tachyon : A hypothetical particle

Tachyon: A hypothetical particle Here we are with 5 fascinating facts about Tachyon Particle. So let's start:- Q.1:-   W hat is a tachyon particle? A:-   A tachyon or  tachyonic particle  is a hypothetical  particle that always travels faster than light. Most physicists believe that faster-than-light particles cannot exist because they are not consistent with the known laws of physics. Q.2:-  Can Tachyons exist? A: -  No experimental evidence for the existence of such particles has been found Q.3:-   Who discovered Tachyons? A:-    The possibility of particles moving faster-than-light was first proposed by O. M. P. Bilaniuk, V. K. Deshpande, and  E. C. G. Sudarshan in 1962, although the term they used for it was "meta-particle Q.4:-  Can we see tachyon? A:-  Because a tachyon would always travel faster-than-light, it would not b...

Zero? 7 Fascinating Question

Zero? Here, We have 7 interesting questions. 1. If Aryabhatta invented 0 then how do we know that Ravana had 10 heads? Ans: This is one of the biggest misconceptions in India. It has created a huge confusion among the Indians. Aryabhatt never invented or discovered zero! He invented a unique symbol for the mathematical purpose. Zero existed even before Aryabhatta created it as a symbol ‘0’. Zero was referred to as Shunya in Vedic times. It was always there, the counting systems. The counting systems were in words not as symbols. Our Hindu calendars and for that matter Muslim calendars has numbers. For instance, after a new moon, there are thithis mentioned as; Ekadasi - 1 st day of the new moon, Dwadasa - 2nd day, Tritiya - 3rd day, Chaturthi - 4th day, Panchmi - 5thday, Shasti - 6th day and so on. 2. What would be life like without zero? Ans: We'd probably have a numerical system that has a base of 9 and -1 might take the place of zero. ...
